Ho-Tyes from San Gabriel Valley (SGV) gasser was at the Mopars at the Strip 2012 event, great paint work on the side panels
I love the con rods used as fuel tank brackets. That is bitchin
late 1960's early 1970's paintwork I think, awesome style and paint fades. Makes me miss the 1970's!
the outlined panel pinstriping, wasn't that a cool touch!?!

If anyone knows what the hell Ho-tyes means, I'd like to know

SS/AH for everyone not a Mopar nut, or vintage drag racing fanatic, that means 1968 Barracuda or Dart, Super Stock, Automatic trans, Hemi-fied by Hurst
This car has been drag racing a long time, and killing engines. This seems to be an accounting for the ones it's put into the big recycler in the sky.
Cajun Sports Nationals were known as the "Chootout" chuckle chuckle
There is about 1/8th of an inch of space between the front of this M/T and the fender... how they haven't marked up, or damaged the fender, I've no idea. These cars frequently get a little air under the front tires, and bounce a little until settling into running fast down the dragstrip... to have kept the tires off the fender with so little space between them has to be a miracle of mechanical marvels.
Flip Flop or Fly was a song title, a lot of musicians covered this song, here's Elwood and Jake: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgzdgLR6tl4
the sound is over a thousand horsepower killing the microphone slowly. Not worth trying to listen to.
