coachbuilt Packards at the Dana Point Concours de Elegance





 in the middle of the gauge above, on the left it says "Park" and on the right "City" ... and in the below photo on the far right the gauge has "Drive" and "Pass"

I've never noticed anything like that before. Also unusual is the radio, it's the middle gauge. I don't recall ever seeing a radio that fits into the look of the other gauges so well.

The Moal family finally got their public admiration in Automobile magazine, get the August 2012 issue (it's great) and go to page 88-93

 this is the primo example of the coachbuilding expertise of the Moal family, now 4 generations of professional carrozzeria from father to sons...

go read the article, it's that good, and effing incredible that Automobile magazine, one of my favorites, has made their content better this month by featuring a family company, that makes this level of incredible cars from scratch as well as working on Ferrari GTOs, race cars, and all the other cool stuff.
